Platform 9 3/4 and chemistry.

While I'm on my way to Ely, Cambridge for my HFL interview, I had to change trains in King Cross Station. This is what I came across. My platform for Cambridge is Platform 9b, I went walking and searching for this platform, the main platform only have till 8, number 9 and 10 is on the smaller side of the building, on the way to the platform, there is this platform appears in front of me. Platform 9 3/4. Unfortunately, the magic world sealed itself after J K Rowling finished her book, at the time of closing up, I think there is someone or some wizard / witch trying to get through the platform and got stucked at the entrance, the result is as below.

My last lab experiment for Numeracy Skills for Forensic Scientist, which we have to prepare a series of dilution of standard Copper solution, and then run the test against some samples includes soils samples and a pill. I like these magnetic stirrers. All you just have to do is pour in the solution you have prepared and switch it on, it will stir for you, and you can adjust it's speed at your own desire.

The white colour tablet-like thing is the magnet. The solutions we have prepared for Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. It's just another very cool machine that have flames on it when you "click" the start button and have a very fine capillary tube for you to put into your solutions, it will analyse everything for you.
Finally, our well-known lab supervisor / assistant, JJ, I've no idea what his post is, but he runs the lab from top to bottom. Being busy with another group of students on UV-Vis spectroscopy.
