The Taxi Killer:
A man riding a moped was killed by a taxi driver in Bermuda in 1975, exactly a year after his brother had been killed by the same taxi driver in the same street carrying the same passenger....and he was riding the same moped.
Wicked???
Bingham & Powell:
Three men travelling by train in Peru one day found that they were the only people on the train. Introducing themselves, they found the first one's surname was Bingham, the second's was Powell and the third man's name was Bingham Powell.
Any Lee's here???
Baby Boom:
Joseph Figlock was walking down a street in Detroit in the 1930's when a baby fell from a window onto his head. A year later the same baby fell from the same window onto him...they both survived !!
Where is the mother???
The Killer Coat:
Jabez Spicer was killed by two bullets in the attack on the federal arsenal at Springfield in 1787. At the time he was wearing the coat his brother Daniel was wearing when he too was killed by two bullets in 1784. The bullets that killed Jabez passed through the holes made by the bullets that had killed his Brother.
So many places for the coat, the bullets chose to go through the 2 holes that had been made before? As if they doesn't want to destroy the nice coat...
The Slow Bullet:
In 1883 Henry Ziegland jilted his sweetheart, who then killed herself. Her Brother tried to avenge this by trying to kill Ziegland, but the bullet only grazed Ziegland and embedded itself into a tree. The Brother believing he had killed Ziegland, then shot himself. In 1913 Ziegland was cutting down the tree with the bullet in it. Being a tough task he used dynamite which when it exploded sent the bullet through Ziegland's head, killing him !!
Lesson from this story, justice will always finds you, in any blurdy way justice could find. And who on earth will be blurdy smart to use dynamite to cut down a tree? and if you are really using a dynamite to blow up a tree, make sure you are in a really safe place.
Greenberry Hill:
On the 26th November, 1911, three men were hanged at Greenberry Hill in London after being convicted of the murder of Sir Edmund Berry. Their last names were Green, Berry and Hill.
Greenberry Hill is now known as Primrose Hill, where quite a few of the famous people lives there, my aunt's flat is near there as well.
Ruptured Buddies:
On a June night in 1930, police patrol man Allan Falby, from Texas, had a car crash and ruptured an artery in his leg . The bleeding was so severe that he would have died if it wasn't for the intervention of a passer-by called Alfred Smith. He applied a tourniquet to Falby's leg, and saved him. Five years later, when Falby was back on the beat, he was called to the scene of a car crash. There, he found a man with a ruptured artery in his leg. It was Alfred Smith, the same man who had rescued him before in identical circumstances.
This gives me a feeling that if I perform CPR on somebody that is going to die, one day if I have a heart attack, I might have to wait till the same person to be back.........
Mark Twain:
Born in 30th of November 1835, exactly 2 weeks after
Halley's Comet came, have a quote saying "I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with
Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: 'Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together.' ", and he had a heart attack on 21st of April 1910, the day after the appearance of
Halley's Comet in 1910.
The Deadly Wedding:
When the princess Maria del Pozzo della Cisterna wed the duke of D'Aosta, son of the King of Italy, on 30 May 1867, the festivities were marred by such a tragic tangle of events that the royal family suppressed the truth lest the very news bring misfortune to the couple's life.
The ominous events began before the wedding when the bride's wardrobe mistress hanged herself, prompting the superstitious princess to order a new gown. The ceremony itself was delayed twice. First, the mounted officer appointed to lead the wedding procession from the palace to the church suffered sunstroke and collapsed. Then the palace gates failed to open for the matrimonial procession. The gatekeeper was found nearby, lying in a pool of blood.
Fate tendered a reprieve during the ceremony but minutes later the best man — probably ineptly handling his ceremonial weapon — shot himself in the head. Eventually the bride and groom were escorted by a procession of carriages to the railway station where the royal newlyweds were to board a train for their honeymoon. More trouble dogged their footsteps. The officer who had drawn up the marriage contract suffered a stroke and the anxious stationmaster fell under the wheels of the approaching bridal locomotive.
King Victor Emmanuel, by now dishonoured by the series of misfortunes and convinced that the ceremony and everything associated with it was jinxed, refused to allow anyone aboard the train and tried desparately to return the procession to the safety of the palace.
But it was not to be. Riding alongside the bridal carriage, the count of Castiglione fell from his horse underneath the carriage's wheels. The count died when the weight of the wheels drove a splendid medal through his uniform into his chest.
The Presidents:
During the American War of Independence, Thomas Jefferson was the author of the 'Declaration of Independence' and John Adams was one of the chief promulgators. Adams eventually became the second President of the United States and Jefferson became the third President.
Both men died in the same year, 1826, and on the same day, July 4th, exactly 50 years to the day of the Independence of the America. It is said that Jefferson willed himself to live until this day, and before he breathed his last breath he asked whether it was the fourth of July.
Adam's last words were, "Thomas Jefferson still survives." although he actually outlived his compatriot by five hours.
President John F Kennedy & President Abraham Lincoln:
There are enough weird theories surrounding President John F Kennedy to fill an entire bookshelf, but one of the more amusing is that he was connected to President Abraham Lincoln, by unusual coincidence. The first, and most simple observation, is that both the names Lincoln and Kennedy have 7 letters. While President Abraham Lincoln was shot in a theatre, and his assassin ran to a warehouse, the opposite happened to President John F Kennedy. Lee Harvey Oswald (if he was the assassin), shot from a warehouse and then ran to a theatre. Another coincidence is that President Abraham Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy, while President John F Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln. Each wife of the president lost a son while they were living at the White House. President Abraham Lincoln became President of the USA in 1860 and President John F Kennedy became president exactly 100 years later 1960. Both men were killed by a bullet that struck the back of their heads. President Abraham Lincoln was killed in Ford's Theatre and President John F Kennedy was killed when he was a passenger in a Lincoln convertible car made by the Ford motor company. Both Presidents were succeeded by vice-presidents named Johnson, both of whom were Southern Democrats and former Senators. Andrew Johnson was born in 1808 and Lyndon Johnson was born in 1908, exactly 100 years apart on the same day. President Abraham Lincoln's killer, John Wilkes Booth was born 1839 and President John F Kennedy's killer, Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939, both exactly 100 years apart. Both killers were Southerners and both held extremist views. Both assassins were themselves murdered before they were brought to trial. Andrew Johnson and Lyndon Johnson each have a total of 13 letters in their spelling. John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald both have a total of 15 letters in their spelling.
