London Chinese New Year - 1st February 2009

This Chinese New Year, I had decided to go with a coursemate to London to celebrate the Chinese New Year, well there isn't much CNY atmosphere in Canterbury, other than wishing each other Happy Chinese New Year. We went to one of the train stations in Canterbury and waited eagerly for the train, and we saw this picture below. 

Thanks to all International Students, now University of Kent able to advertise even in train stations. 

Reaching London around midday, it is crowded around Chinatown, and we found ourselves in a restaurant to have some dim sum for lunch, and then walk ourselves towards Trafalgar Square to watch dragon dance and lion dance, which kinda our main objective to London, other than that, I can't think of any reasons after the lion dance is finished.

This tree was dominated by pigeons..

Ended the day with a chocolate fudge cake..

Got stucked at Faversham on the way back to Canterbury for an hour due to the weather.. one and a half hour of journey becomes 3 hours...
